The Green House

I don't live in this neighborhood but have attended probably a dozen events and activities here. 80216 is the most polluted zip code in the country (you can look this up) along with other quality of life detractions such as blaring train horns, near-inaccessible public transit, lack of grocery stores, etc. I appreciate that the Green House seeks to empower people who are impacted by this reality to demand change. I don't live here though and I don't do much to help, so I can't speak to efficacy or impact. Through attending the open mic I have been encouraged to go outside my comfort zone and connect with people in new ways.

The most wonderful community co-op center that truly cares about creating joy & bringing people together in the midst of hardship, advocating for & being the change we want to see in the world

The Green House is such an amazing place! We need more places like this, giving back to the community through public health, education, and the arts.

Went there. Met cool people. Told one of them my story. They told the rest, all of a sudden I was not welcome……due to a rascist American, I have to say 10% of it is prolly because my skin color. The rest is, some people can’t handle genuine love energy, most likely due to upbringing. Its not my fault of some can’t handle my mothers love through me. That’s all I can do with her love since she passed, is spread it around. The situation is similar to the whole “it’s not cool to be happy” vibe these days. And “to speak clearly and honestly to some is viewed as hostile”. Everyone is programmed to come together around a common enemy. Why do some push away loving ones. And come together with enemies…….? I could really tell I was Guna make good friends there too………..🤷🏾🙄🙏🏾👽🫶🏾🧶
